A Construction Site Supervisor manages and oversees the activities and personnel on a construction site, so that a project is run correctly to schedule and safely.

The Level 4 Construction Design and Build Technician course can lead to job roles such as an Assistant Coordinator, Design and Build Coordinator, or Design Manager. Construction Design and Build Technicians are associated with the coordination of design information on construction projects. They identify client requirements and work to deliver projects based on the customers’ expectations. This course will provide candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve Technician status. Generally based on construction sites or in the office, learners will assist architects with the development of detailed designs. They will also be responsible for monitoring quality, and checking that projects are in compliance with industry regulations. Additional duties include the minimisation of environmental impacts or assisting commercial staff to monitor costs.
The ESFA apprenticeship funding requires candidates to allocate a minimum of 20% of their contractual working hours to the programme over each 12-18 month programme period. (This includes learning related activities in the workplace) The blended programme would be delivered as follows:

The end-point assessment is separate to any qualifications or other assessment that the apprentice may undertake during training. The apprentice will not be able to achieve the apprenticeship without passing the end-point assessment.
The assessment should include a minimum of two different assessment methods.
End point assessments give assurance that the apprentice possesses the knowledge, skills and behaviours to be fully competent in the occupation.
End point assessments are undertaken by an independent third party who has had not been involved in the training or line management of the apprentice, and who is on the Register of Apprenticeship Assessment Organisations.
Please note: If the candidate does not pass the end point assessment the employer will be liable to pay Skills4Stem the outstanding 20% of the fee via invoice.
