The HNC/D in Construction and the Built Environment is created and accredited by Pearson and consists of 8 HNC modules & 7 HND Modules. Pearson describe themselves as the “World’s Learning Company” and operate in over 70 different countries. We offer several specialist pathways which are Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering (HVAC or Electrical), Architectural Technician and Quantity Surveying.

Monthly assignments are set, and the course has a 12-month duration for both the HNC and the HND. It is delivered via blended online learning, with online ‘live’ taught interactive webinars taking place once every two weeks during evenings & weekends. You will be given access to an online portal called Skills4Stem Online, providing you with ample resources needed to complete the course. Support by Skills4Stem qualified Trainers will be provided.

Pearson accreditation will be provided per unit, with up to 5 years to complete the full 7-unit qualification.

We offer rolling start dates for our HND, meaning we usually have start dates every month.

Funding

For those self-funding – The whole enrolment process can be completed over the phone. We will conduct a short telephone interview to take some enrolment details. Following this interview, we can also take payment over the phone.

For those being funded through their employer – We can raise an invoice for the course cost. We will require the Name, Email Address and Work Address for the person within your organisation who will be making the payment. Following confirmation of payment, we can set up a suitable date and time to conduct a telephone interview to complete the enrolment process.
